Stephen is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist and Irish step dancer from Bodyke, Co. Clare. Holding multiple All-Ireland fleadh titles and medals, he now enjoys teaching flute and tin whistle, and performing at festivals across Ireland. He has performed in over 30 countries worldwide with various ensembles and productions, including South Africa, The Philippines, Turks and Caicos and several tours of Central Europe.
Stephen’s music is greatly influenced by the playing of notable East Clare musicians including Mary McNamara and Seamus Bugler. His workshops will cover breath work, ornamentation (also applicable to tin whistle players), as well tunes associated with the East Clare region.
