Open Air Venue: Felsenbühne Burg Lockenhaus (in case of rain, indoor at Festsaal Burg Lockenhaus)
Every year, we host the „Trad Music Festival Concert“ as a public concert and highlight to the Trad Music Weekend in Lockenhaus. This evening filling presentation of traditional music, song and dance from Ireland and beyond has continuously grown in popularity over the last 15+ years and draws an audience from all over the east of Austria, the west of Hungary and further afield. The best of what the Irish and Scottish trad music scene has to offer is being showcased at this picturesque and historic site. This event is free of charge, we rely on your generous donations on the door. In case of rain, we have to move upstairs into the „Festsaal“ of the castle. Unfortunately, due to its medieval structure, this indoor venue is not wheelchair friendly.
